Marée verte

Green tide

Bonjour à tous !
Hello everyone !

Enjoying a shy april summer, I decided to head to the pretty shore of Bénodet with my camera in hand. Here are the results.

And, as picture editing often leads to many wonders, I have to admit that I couldn't help but be tempted to create what my significant other and I call “a painting”. A “painting” is in fact creating a picture more or less abstract, absurd, unrealistic, beyond understanding, but still beautiful in a way, by using a photograph and and editing it. I like the concept quite a bit, thus I kind of want to make more of these.

For the first time, I've had the opportunity to use my reflex in manual mode. Yup, I've owned it for a while now but I still didn't know how to adjust the settings in a satisfying manner. I've recently learnt the basics, and from now on I have to keep practising with this.

Did you like these pics ? What do you think about that  « painting » concept ? Were these better than the last pics I showed you ?

Portez vous bien et à bientôt !
Be well, and see you soon !
